With the risk of people thinking or telling me that I’m crazy, I’m gonna write this, because it needs to come out. I believe in the Law of Attraction. I believe that anything that you give attention to, will grow. This goes for plants (taking care of them – even talking to them – makes them grow), for kids behavior (giving attention to the positive behavior? That’s what you’ll get more of, same goes for the negative behavior!) as well as for problems. The more you ‘feed’ a problem, the bigger it will get. The more you think about it, worry or talk about it, the bigger it will seem to be. But when you take your mind off of it and do something else, energy can flow in the right direction again and a solution will often come ‘falling out of the sky’. A simple, smart and effective solution. Something that will fix your problem much faster than you thought was possible while thinking just about the problem. “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them” – Albert Einstein.
Why I’m sharing this? I think this is part of what is going on at a much bigger scale, especially with the main stream media. Too much attention to the things we DON’T want, which gives them only a chance to grow bigger and bigger. Trying not to point at anything in specific (that will only give it more attention), but I think you all know what I’m talking about.
‘There is nothing we can do’ is a feeling a lot of people have, so what they do is they think about it, talk about it with others, post about it on social media. And with this, they only feed their own fears, the fears of others and give ‘the problem’ an opportunity to grow.
What you can do – because there is something that you CAN do – is take your mind off of it! Do something different, focus on what makes you happy! Do something good for someone else, show attention and love to the thing you DO want to see in your life! If everyone would focus more on seeing and doing the right things in their OWN lives, there would be a HUGE change on a large scale!! Because if we focus on helping each other, caring for each other and spreading positive messages, that is what we will get back. In our own lives and on a larger scale!
I don’t say you should never watch the news again, or never talk about what’s happening in the world, I just want to ask you to give as much attention to the positive things out there as you do to the negative ones. Because in the end, that’s what we all want to see more of!
